Our Steps Towards EU Deforestation Regulation Compliance

We are excited to share with you our latest video that showcases our approach towards the upcoming EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) that is coming into effect on 30 December 2024. The EUDR aims to curb the EU market’s impact on global deforestation and degradation, as well as decreasing carbon emissions and biodiversity loss.

The legislation will require extensive due diligence, including geolocating all plots of land where the rubber was grown. As traceability is a major element in Halcyon Agri’s ESG strategy, we look forward to driving this positive change to ensure compliance with the new regulation.

In this video, we shared an overview on how we approach this regulation and also some highlights of our recent trial of Traceable Natural Rubber (TNR) export to selected customers.

Agridence is our technology partner in this initiative supporting us in geo-mapping, deforestation check, due diligence process, traceability and upstream support.

“At Halcyon Agri, we take these regulations seriously and are committed to working closely with our customers to comply with them. At the same time, we aim to bring a positive impact to the lives of farmers and the well-being of nature and the environment.”
